TERMS & CONDITIONS
My Interior Design Service is completely tailored to you. I'm here to help from start to finish, providing a hands-on approach through every stage. In many cases, keys are handed over, and weeks later, the clients return to a fully renovated and decorated home!
My fee structure is based on a standard interior design structure.
1. Consultation / Conceptualisation
An hourly consultation fee is charged. This includes consulting on room designs, site visits, sourcing products, soft furnishings, arranging contractors and organising logistics accordingly. The consultation fee is kept to an absolute minimum.
2. Supplier Discounts (where appropriate)
Many suppliers offer a trade discount to registered interior designers, which does not affect the customer retail price. It is a discount paid by the supplier to their trade clients. This allows me to keep my hourly rate more flexible. However, on discounted invoices, a management fee will be levied.
3. Furniture and Accessories
All fabrics, furniture and accessories will be bought and charged at normal retail prices.
4. Travel
If your house is stationed outside Woodstock (UK), I shall bill the standard car and fuel charge according to recommended guidelines. My hourly charge out rate while travelling will be half my normal rate.
5. Subcontractors
All subcontractors (i.e.curtain makers, joiners, upholsterers, lighting and carpet supplies etc.) that I have direct involvement with and have had to oversee, will be charged a management fee on their trade prices.
6. Payment
All payments to retailers and subcontractors will be handled directly by Willow & White Interiors accounts. The Willow & White Interiors team will invoice the client at regular intervals.
7. Other Services
Finding the most suitable contractors, briefing the team, incorporating site visits to oversee the quality of the work and whether they are on deadline etc. A commission is applied to all external contractors fees (in the same vein an architect applies a percentage to the cost of any project). If this commission is applied, an hourly consultation rate is not charged. I invoice at the end of each month for my time and quote on all jobs prior to them being undertaken, so that my clients are able to budget accordingly. Please do let me know if you have any queries.
